USS Hornet CVS-12

USS Hornet CVS-12 is one of the leading ships to turn the tide of the pacific theater during World War 2. It was attacked 59 times and destroyed more enemy aircraft than any other United State ship.

The evening starts at 6pm in the Officer's Wardroom where we will discuss what to expect during the tour and go over important safety protocol.

Afterwards, we will relax and reflect in the wardroom and enjoy non and alcoholic beverages and tasty snacks.

Things to bring: 

• Reliable flashlight 
• Wear comfortable shore
• No large purses or backpacks of any kind.
• Suitable for ages12 and up in good walking and climbing shape. 
  • You will be required to safely climb up and down narrow ship ladders during the tour.
